Jimmy’s is a premier live music & sports bar located in the heart of North Carolina’s most popular coastal town, Wrightsville Beach. Owner Jimmy Gillece has been bartending and enjoying WB for 20 years. During his time in college at UNCW, he fell in love with the community and knew that he wanted to make his mark in WB. He grew up around live music and always had a lot of musicians in the family so having live music became a big priority for him. Even if you’ve never been there before, as soon as you walk in you feel like family.
 
Our challenge was to develop a brand from scratch that communicates the authentic warm feeling that you get when you visit Jimmy’s. We developed and designed a strategy that would create content that would be implemented into their online presence including website and social media.

Brand Identity

We used our art/graphic skills to design a logo and style that is not only simple , but focuses on the famous Jimmy’s Mascot - Kruiser the dog. We took inspiration from old antique beach buildings to develop the style that would be used throughout Jimmy’s marketing + brand elements.

Website + eCommerce Development

We created a website for Jimmy’s that not only showcases the live bands coming through, but also focuses on all the events that Jimmy’s has. This includes charity fundraisers, philanthropic events and more. The website was also built with eCommerce functionality that has allowed Jimmy’s to sell their merchandise online.

Content Development

Jimmy’s is now a believer of the power of content. We’ve used different mediums, whether custom graphic, photos, or videos to promote things going on at the bar.
